AIAPS-005 — Official Implementation

Coming Soon

The AIAPS Plugin

The AIAPS Plugin is the official way to bring a human-made recording into conformance with the AIAPS standard. It embeds a hidden authenticity signature into your audio and registers a verifiable fingerprint — establishing that the work is yours, when it existed, and how it may be used.

Runs locally in your DAW. Your music never leaves your machine.

Section 01 — What Happens When You Run the Plugin

Four Steps

Step 01

Audio Analysis

The plugin analyzes your recording's spectral and temporal structure to generate a perceptual audio fingerprint.

This fingerprint represents the unique audible identity of your track — no two recordings produce the same one.

Step 02

Signature Generation

AIAPS derives a song-specific protection signature from the fingerprint. Unlike traditional watermarks that use a fixed pattern, the AIAPS signature is generated from the recording itself.

This is what makes AIAPS signatures more robust and harder to strip than generic watermarks.

Step 03

Signature Embedding

The protection signature is embedded into the audio using psychoacoustically masked regions of the recording, making it completely inaudible to listeners.

The sound of your music remains unchanged. The signature is hidden in regions the human ear cannot perceive.

Step 04

Registry Registration

The track fingerprint and metadata are registered in the AIAPS Registry, creating a permanent verification record and generating a unique AIAPS ID.

This timestamp establishes when your music existed — a provenance record that can be verified at any time.

Section 02 — Output

What the Plugin Produces

After processing, your recording receives the following.

Protection Artifacts
01An AIAPS fingerprint
02An embedded AIAPS protection signature
03A registry timestamp
04A unique AIAPS ID
05A public verification record

Creators can then mark their recording as:

Section 03 — Design Principles

How the Plugin Is Built

3.1

Transparency

The protection signature is embedded in psychoacoustically masked regions. The sound of your recording is unchanged. Your listeners will never hear the difference.

3.2

Song-Specific Protection

Every recording receives a unique protection pattern derived from the audio itself. No two songs share the same signature. This is not a generic watermark — it is a fingerprint of your music.

3.3

Verifiable Provenance

The AIAPS Registry allows any protected recording to be verified against a timestamped fingerprint. This establishes when the recording existed and who registered it.
