How Verification Works

For audio files, the system recomputes the perceptual fingerprint and compares it against records in the AIAPS registry. For lossless audio, the embedded watermark is also decoded.

If a match is found, the registry record confirms the recording's AIAPS ID, registration timestamp, and policy designation.
